Nick is a Dutch full-stack developer and IT consultant based in Waalwijk with over six years of production software experience. He focuses on Next.js, TypeScript, React and Node.js for websites, SaaS platforms and mobile apps, and works both hourly and on fixed-price projects.
My Story
As a passionate full-stack developer, I help businesses and entrepreneurs realize their digital ambitions. With a broad technical background and an eye for detail, I build solutions that are not only beautiful, but actually work.
From modern websites to complex SaaS platforms - I approach every project with the same dedication and precision. My approach is personal, transparent and always focused on the best result for the client.
My largest project to date is Salonnare: a multi-tenant SaaS platform for beauty salons with 88 Drizzle ORM schemas, 104 idempotent migrations and six external integrations (Stripe Connect, Mollie Connect, Google Reserve, Resend, WhatsApp and Cloudflare). It runs fully containerized in Docker, supports five languages and serves each salon from its own subdomain. Alongside that, in 2025 I built a new responsive website for Dyola's Beauty Boutique in Tilburg - live in one week, Lighthouse 100 on SEO and available 24/7 via WhatsApp.
I work remote-first from Waalwijk for clients across the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of the EU. Every engagement starts with an introductory call, followed by a fixed-price quote within three business days, and only then does the work begin. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices - always clear on what you get and when.

Do you work remotely or on-site?
Remote from Waalwijk by default. For strategic sessions, workshops or complex kickoffs I travel to clients in Noord-Brabant and Zuid-Holland (Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Breda, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Amsterdam).
Which languages do you work in?
Dutch and English - meetings, documentation and code comments in whichever language your team prefers. Salonnare itself runs in five languages (NL, EN, DE, FR, ES).
How are you engaged?
As a Dutch ZZP'er through the sole proprietorship VanIersel Development. Invoices excluding VAT, standard payment term 14 days. Modelovereenkomst or your company's own framework agreement is open for discussion.
